Qwiki The Once "Talking Wikipedia" Now A Video Creation App

You may remember an iPad app and website called Qwiki. It was like a Wikipedia that would show you images and read a summery of the information of a topic or person, location, ect.. to you.

Well looks like it didn't work out so well (I liked it) because Qwiki has now been re-released for only iPhone (at least for now) as a new video-creation type application.

Qwiki takes pictures and video from your camera roll and turns them into slideshow-like videos with captions and music.

Your Qwiki's are fully customizable, there is drag and drop editing, song selection, filters...

You can share through email, SMS, Facebook, Twitter. Set them to private or public.

Qwiki give you another great option to use your photos and videos and create a video memory of them.

Definitely better thought out than Vine. Although more complicated. Qwiki, even though you can let Qwiki do most of the work for you, takes some effort to really customize and make it just right.

And once again, I don't think we really need another social network to follow and add friends and like and comment on videos. But hey, you'll be sharing these to different sites anyway.

Take a look at the app demo video from Qwiki.
