Did you know that you can show the time and date in the Mac Menubar? It's really handy to have, and it's easy to set up. There are also a bunch of other options you can modify...
How To Show The Date On Mac Status Bar
1. Open System Preferences.
2. In the fourth row, click Date & Time.
3. Click on the Clock tab.
4. Under date options, check on Show date.
There are also other great useful options in this menu tab. You can switch from a digital clock to a analog clock. Display the time with seconds. Flash the time separators. Switch to 24 hour time / or 12 hour time. Show AM / PM next to the time. You can also show the day of the week, as well.
And the last option in the Clock tab is Announce the time. You can customize how often, and get a system voice to speak the time, on the desired interval.
