Isn't annoying when you are trying to download an app for your iPhone or iPad from the App Store and you get prompted to enter your password?! Well, did you know you can actually switch off this requirement for free app downloads?! But there is a small catch. To make this option show, you have to switch off 'Use Touch ID for iTunes & App Store'. So it's convenient if you are downloading mostly free apps.
How to download free apps without needing to enter your password on the iOS App Store:
1. Open 'Settings'.
2. Tap 'Touch ID & Passcode'.
3. Under the heading 'Use Touch ID For', switch off 'iTunes & App Store'.
4. Now back to Settings, tap, 'iTunes & App Store'.
5. Then tap 'Password Settings'.
6. Now, under the heading 'Free Downloads', switch off 'Require Password'.
