Best Tweaks From The Cydia Store For Jailbroken iPhone's

While I don't recommend jailbraking your iOS devices', the jailbreaking program evasi0n has been downloaded millions of times and it makes you wonder why. Is it just because some like to be able to hack their devices and change what they want? Or is there something so great that we're all missing out on?

If you take a look at some of the tweaks people have made which can be download on the pre-installed jailbroken app store, Cydia. You'll find some tweaks are weird, don't look good, make an iPhone seem more like a Andorid device -- but then there's some that actually make iOS better, more functional and easier to use.

Some of these tweaks can make Apple's iOS seem dated and in need of a refresh. So while I don't recommend jailbreaking your iPhone or other iOS device, I've never felt the need and I'm not going into details of how to jailbreak - as it could mess up your device, give you problems, you never know if there could be some malicious program and you won't be able to download new iOS software right when it comes out, and also because it might not be legal anymore, it is interesting to take a look at some of the best tweaks people have made and wish Apple would take note for iOS 7.

Here is my list of the best tweaks available for jailbroken iPhone's. Some of these apps are free, some you'd need to pay for, but they are all features that will make your iPhone more awesome while not completely changing the look or functions of iOS.

Auxo
Auxo changes the iOS App switcher. It gives you page previews of the apps and the app icons. Swipe down to remove an app from running in the background. Also if you swipe to the left you'll get shortcuts to other functions like; Wi-Fi, Airplane mode, rotation lock, alarm, brightness and so on.

NCSettings
Adds shortcuts into Notification Center. Shortcuts for Brightness, rotation-lock, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Airplane mode, volume, 3G, Private browsing mode, and more...

PasswordPilot
This is for those who hate having to retype your App Store password all the time. Your password is stored in PasswordPilot and auto fills your password when you purchase an app.

SwipeSelection
That magnifying glass is annoying, takes time and never goes where you want it too. With SwipeSelection, moving the cursor is as easy as swiping across your keyboard. You can also easily select text from swiping from the shift key.

Zephyr
Zephyr gives you those touch gestures to control your iPhone. Open up the App Switcher simply by swiping up. Or switch through running apps by swiping from the edge across the screen. Pinch to close an app and go back to the home screen. Similar to the gestures on the iPad. If there was one feature I wish was on the iPhone, it is this one - so I don't need to keep pressing the home button!

Barrel
If your tired of the same old app icons just moving across the screen when you flick through pages, try Barrel. Barrel features many different types of app page transitions.

KillBackground
KillBackground simply adds a button in the App Switcher that will clear all apps running in the background at the same time! No more having to close them all one by one.

This is just a small selection of iPhone tweaks. Even though I wouldn't myself, I can understand why some choose to jailbreak their iPhone. All i can say is, Apple you better impress us with iOS 7.
