Stress Doctor is about breathing. This is a yoga exercise for breathing. And they claim can have you feeling fully present in just five minutes.
It works by tracking your breathing by measuring measuring blood flow in you finger. Just place your index finger lightly over your camera on phone and Stress Doctor will start graphing out your breathing.
The apps instructions are much better but anyway - you'll see your heart rate oscillating on the screen, and your goal is to smooth out the wave, by inhaling when the wave is near the bottom and exhaling when the wave is near the top of the screen. Successful effective breathing is marked by a ying-yang icon.
You can end your session at anytime but you are recommended to go for at least 5 minutes, which at the end of, if you followed the instructions right - should feel more relaxed.
Stress Doctor definitely helps with deep slow breathing, and the benefits of doing this could help to reduce stress and anxiety. Using this app takes dedication and ironically a calm, patient mind. So keep calm - and learn to control your breathing!
