Deal Or No Deal - iOS iPhone, iPad Game - App Review

Deal Or No Deal, the Television game show loved by many from all around the world. You need no special skills or trivial knowledge to play - just some luck!  You can also play it yourself from the comfort of your iOS device.

Quick run down of the game; there are 26 suit cases, each with different values from one dollar to one million dollars. You get to choose one, then start opening the remaining cases - while getting offers from "the banker" who wants to buy your suit case back as cheap as possible. With some luck - idea is to keep the top values in play and sell your suit case back to the banker making as much as possible - or play it through to the end and hope you have a high value in your suit case.

The iOS game made by iwin, Inc. is based on the U.S. version of the show.

Deal Or No Deal feature great looking graphics, and audio. The best Deal or No Deal app in the App Store, and by the way the only officially licensed one.

Deal Or No Deal, features;
- Facebook Connect or Guest login.
- Solo or Tournament games. - Play against friends in Tournament mode with Facebook Connect.

So here's what I like about the Deal Or No Deal Game:

- The graphics; really good - cartoon like and "3D".
It has the models opening the suitcases and all.

- The gameplay; realistic like the TV show.

Now the dislikes:

- Need Tokens to play game: Yep, 200 each time to be exact. Now while the game gives you tokens, when you play and with bonus tokens with like daily free spins and you can definitely buy more, I don't like the idea of not being able to play as many games as I like. There are some fans of the show that I know, that would love to play the game, but I wouldn't recommend this because how am I suppose to tell them, "oh, you can't play as much as you'd like". Maybe they should use the Tokens for Tournament mode only and let the Solo mode be a "free play".
And then there's the other issue;

- All the little extras like the 'Powerchips'. It's Deal Or No Deal, that's the game people want to play and it feels like they've tried too hard to add something new to the game, adding these little extras that I think are pointless like; "Increase your next offer by 10%" or "Adds $25,000 to your final case". Maybe fun for some, I don't know.

- And the least dislike of the game: no way to exit a game mid-play. If you want to quit you need to take a deal.

It is a good game with great graphics, fun experience, and it should keep Deal Or No Deal fans happy, however in my opinion, just feel it should be more basic. Remove the tokens, and the Powerchips and get back to basics and just give us the 'normal' game and let people play it as much as they want.

Deal Or No Deal is free to download and is available for iOS (Designed for both iPhone and iPad).
