How to Display / Sort Contacts By First Name - (iPhone Tip)

You probably generally know others by their first name, so then, when you want to call someone you'll most likely want to find them by their first name. However the default option on an iPhone is to sort contacts by last name first. This can easily be changed! 

To change the name sorting and displaying order of your contacts, follow these steps: 

- Open the 'Settings' App.

- Scroll down and press, 'Mail, Contacts, Calendar'. 

- Scroll down to the 'Contacts' heading.

- Here you'll find two options: Sort Order and Display Order.

- In 'Sort Order' you can choose whether the app sorts your contacts by last or first name. This is the order they will be listed in. 

- And in Display Order, you can choose what order the first and last name appear in. (Eg: First name, then last name or last, then first).
