Also the wrist-wearable device will use a system-in-package (SiP) design, which allows for many chips to be placed in a single module. The iWatch is expected to be released later this year. Reported by TechCrunch, Apple has acquired screen technology and micro-LED company LuxVue. Mirco-LED displays could be used by Apple to provide better battery life and better screen brightness. [Read Article]  


According to 9to5Mac, the main focus of Apple's WWDC 2014 event is to be OS X! Apple has apparently moved some staff working on iOS 8 over to OS X 10.10 to complete the visual overhaul of the user interface, which is rumored to feature a more iOS 7 look and feel. [Read Article]
